Dell laptop cashback promotion March 2022

I bought a Dell laptop from Currys with £150 cashback to be reclaimed from Dell, between 14 to 45 days after purchase. The Currys website had the link for this on the laptop page. Comes time to claim, Currys have removed the link and I have been going around in circles trying to get it from Dell. Finally succeeded without their help!

The cashback form will require a product code, this is the EAN on the outer box of your laptop!

***I also learnt that:***

1) When you are are getting transferred by customer care by Dell, ask them for the 7-digit extension they are transferring to; that way if you get disconnected, you can call the switchboard and enter the extension to reach the relevant team directly.

2) Currys after sales customer care is extremely poor, this is reflected in the fact that they have an almost non-traceable customer email address that customer service reps seem not to want to give out, this is letusknow@teamknowhow.co.uk
(Since writing this message, I have had an undeliverable message to this email address too - will think twice before buying high-value items from Currys PC World again)

Hope this saves someone else some time and hassle - for time is money and hassle is a time drain!

I have now filed the cashback and hope getting the money is easier than finding the link has been.
