TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Asmodee UK” (the “Competition”).

 

These terms and conditions (the “Specific Terms”) for the Competition should be read alongside  our general competition terms and conditions at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html (the “General Terms”) which will also apply to this Competition. Where there is any conflict between these Specific Terms and the General Terms, the Specific Terms shall prevail. 

 

 

1.Entry ROUTES and Costs	Entry to the Competition is available via the following routes:   ONLINE COMPETITION   Online at https://planetradio.co.uk/absolute-radio/competitions/   Online entry is free of charge.   ON AIR CO MPETITION    On air on text to win 121815   Texts charged at national rate.
2.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN	ONLINE COMPETITION   There will be one online winner. The winner will be chosen by electronic random draw from all those that correctly answered the question on the competition page when the competition closes.  The draw will take place in the week commencing 9th April 2022.   ON AIR COMPETITION    The competition will air during Bush’s Indie Disco Takeover (“the Show”) between 0900 – 1900 on Monday 18th April (“The Competition Day”). There will be four competition rounds and four on-air winners in total, on the competition day, the rounds will take place in the following times: Competition Round 1: 06.00 – 10.00 Competition Round 2: 10.00 – 13.00 Competition Round 3: 13.00 – 16.00 Competition Round 4: 16.00 – 19.00 To enter, listeners should text into the studio on the number named in section 1.2 when directed to do so by the presenter during Bush’s All Day Indie Disco – specific times to be given on the day by the presenters. Texting into the studio or speaking to a member of the production team does not guarantee you will be invited to play the game or win the prize. The nature of the game and how to win is at Absolute Radio Producer’s discretion, and their verdict on if you have won a prize is final – the detail on how to win each day can be found in section [2.1 HOW TO WIN] All final decisions will rest with the Absolute Radio Production Team.   2.1 HOW TO WIN   Absolute Radio presenter Andy Bush will announce a year that a popular band missed out on number one in the charts Absolute Radio presenter Andy Bush will then announce the name of the popular band that missed out on number one in the charts Absolute Radio presenter Andy Bush will announce who did make number one in the charts at the time The contestant then must identify and text in the name of the song that by the named popular band that just missed out on number one in the charts The winner will be randomly selected from all correct answers that are texted in   If the contestant wins a prize and it is subsequently discovered that they do not fulfil these specific terms and conditions, nor the general competitions terms and condition, they will be disqualified. 3. ENTRY PERIOD	Entries must be submitted during the following entry period:   ONLINE COMPETITION   From Monday 11th April at 00.01am (the “Start Time”) to Sunday 8th May at 11.59pm (“End Time”).   ON AIR COMPETITION    Bush’s All Day Indie Disco [0900-1900] on Absolute Radio on Monday 18th April 2022. Specific times to be given by the presenter on the day on air.     Entries received before the Start Time or after the End Time for either entry route will be invalid.
4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS	Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry. Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter. If anyone has won a competition on any Bauer Media brand (see point below) to the value of £500 or more in the past 6 months, they or any person at the winning address will not be eligible to win the competition. Winning the on-air competition will trigger this condition for the online competition. We are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery or a prize winner being unable to take up any aspect, or the entirety of the prize due to their own circumstances or restrictions.                                                                                                                                                                                                                           *Please note that due to the current Covid-19 situation, there may be delays to delivery and to the winners being contacted by Bauer Media. These may exceed the 28 days delivery period as stated in our General Terms and Conditions.

1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS. By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you have submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you any remuneration therefore and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize if applicable. We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

 

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

 

• Entries which do not comply with these Terms or the General Competition Terms and Conditions will not be accepted and any entries may be disqualified if we have any reason to suspect that there is a breach of, or non-compliance with, these Terms.
• Where a competition mechanic involves the answering of questions, the correct answers to questions must match our answers to win (or be sufficiently close in our sole reasonable opinion) to be acceptable. In the event of any dispute about any answers given and whether they are correct, we reserve the right to amend what we deem a correct answer, however we are not obliged to, and our decision in either case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
• We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.
• You are responsible for all costs of entry and where necessary, obtaining the bill payer’s permission. Please refer to your tariff with your network provider for information about charges you may incur for entry into our competitions via any SMS or phone call entry route.
• We accept no liability for network, technical or signal errors, issues or failures experienced by entrants when entering the competition or at any stage during the mechanic of the competition.
