    @Thrugelmir - No I didn't.  It's a ready made portfolio that AJ Bell sell as 'balanced'
    Has AJ Bell revised their % allocation to the individual funds since you invested? 
    These ready-made portfolios are just guidance to get started, and you can add funds and/or change weightings if you want. It also makes clear on the AJ Bell website that investors need to manage the portfolios themselves. This is from the website:
    "Once you’ve invested in an AJ Bell Ready-made portfolio, responsibility for managing it rests with you. So you need to be sure you have the time, and confidence, to do this. Each portfolio is designed to be held for five years or more. And the funds we’ve chosen in each one are guidance only – not a personal recommendation. Remember, too, that the value of investments can change and you could lose money as well as make it."

    Seems that this at least answers the OP's question regarding rebalancing. 

    Wonder how many investors have jumped in without reading the small print. Managing your own portfolio is far from easy when markets turn for the worse.
