Advice about existing mortgage and structural repairs

Hi All,

Pretty stressed and don't want to create more problems for myself. Iin the process of selling my flat, a buyer's survey highlighted some possible structural issues on an aspect of the property I can't normally get access to. I'm insured and and have booked a structural engineer so should hopefully know more soon. My question is, should I inform ny current mortgage lender of any repairs I may have to make? In case its relevant, I'm looking to pay off the mortgage with this sale so no porting, or continued relationship with my current lender. Happy to share more details if helpful.

Strictly speaking probably yes, but no point worrying about it until you know what (if anything) is actually involved.
