COMPETITION TERMS

PROMOTION DESCRIPTION: The April 2022 (‘giveaway’) begins on 2022-03-28 and ends on 01 May 2022 at 12am (the ‘Promotion Period’). Prize delivery/collection can only be accommodated within the UK.

The Sponsor of this giveaway is The Sausage Man UK Ltd (The Sponsors). By participating in the competition, each Entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which shall be final and binding in all respects. The sponsors is responsible for the collection, submission or processing of Entries and the overall administration of the Sweepstakes. Entrants should look solely to the Sponsors with any questions, comments or problems related to the Sweepstakes. The Sponsor may be reached by email at marketing@sausageman.co.uk during the Promotion Period.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the United Kingdom who are 18 (the ‘Entrant’). Sponsors, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, retailers, sales representatives, advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (the ‘Promotion Entities’), are ineligible to enter the Sweepstakes or win a prize. Household Members and Immediate Family Members of such individuals are also not eligible to enter or win. ‘Household Members’ shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year. ‘Immediate Family Members’ shall mean parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. Open to UK residents only, excluding Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands – prizes cannot be shipped overseas at this time. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable national and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

HOW TO ENTER: Enter the giveaway during the Promotion Period online by visiting the competition page, which can be found on the following website at https://prizes.sausageman.co.uk/. Automated or robotic Entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Internet entry must be made by the Entrant. Any attempt by Entrant to obtain more than the stated number of Entries by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void Entrant’s Entries and that Entrant may be disqualified. Additional entries via referral system, sharing and commenting are permitted. Final eligibility for the award of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below. All Entries must be posted by the end of the Promotion Period in order to participate. Sponsors’ database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes.

WINNER SELECTION: The Winner(s) of the giveaway will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received throughout the Promotion Period. The random drawing will be conducted within 7 working days after the Promotion Period by Sponsors or their designated representatives, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will vary depending on the number of eligible Entries received. The Winner(s) will be asked to take part in in a film / photoshoot of them receiving their prize, which can be used across all Sausage Man social media platforms as well as the platforms of Alton’s BBQ World.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Winners will be announced on a live draw from The Sausage Man social media channels. Winners will then be notified by email at the email addresses provided in the Entry Information approximately within 7 days after the random drawing. Potential Winners must accept a prize by email as directed by the Sponsors within 7 days of notification. Sponsors are not responsible for any delay or failure to receive notification for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or Winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account. Any winner notification not responded to or returned as undeliverable may result in prize forfeiture. The potential prize winner may be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability, and a Publicity Release (collectively ‘the Prize Claim Documents’). No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except by the Sponsors.

PRIZE WINNERS: Voucher Winners will be sent their prizes via eGift card to the email address registered at signup. The Grand Prize Winner for this Month will be notified by email, and may be asked to take part in publicity activities relating to their win (where practical). In the first instance, the winner of the Traeger Wood Pellet Grill will be invited to attend Alton’s BBQ World to receive their prize, at the following location:

All entrants will remain eligible for the ultimate Grand Prize Draw (a pair of VIP tickets to the F1 Grand Prix at Silverstone in 2022), including earlier winners, and will accrue additional entries in accordance with the set rules. Entries into further monthly draws are permitted, and additional entries for the Grand Prize Draw may be accrued. No cash alternative to the advertised prizes is available.

INSTANT WIN PRIZES: Prizes rewarded in the Instant Win part of the competition will be subject to the Terms & Conditions of our voucher codes in the usual way. Minimum spends will apply, and the vouchers will be redeemable until 31/05/2022.

PRIVACY: Any personal information supplied by you will be subject to the privacy policy of the Sponsors posted on the Sponsors’ websites (www.sausageman.co.uk). By entering the competition, you grant the Sponsors permission to process your data in accordance with the Sponsors’ privacy policies (see “COMMUNICATIONS” section). Entrants to the prize draw must opt-in to The Sausage Man communications at point of entry. You are able to unsubscribe at any time. Alternative prize selection methods will be possible if attendance in person proves unpractical due to distance or safety concerns.

LIMITATION of LIABILITY: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsors and any subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.

DISPUTES: This Sweepstakes IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF United Kingdom, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this giveaway, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in United Kingdom having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees. Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
