Got a dip from nationwide used there advice service which went to “dip subjective accept” on there tracker. again through there advisor we did the full application and submitted all required documents which were again accepted on the tracker.
valuation was then booked but the day before valuation we had a “dip decline” appear on tracker. The advisor contacted us saying underwriters required an extra payslip to confirm my pay structure.

is it unusual for a decline to appear when they have requested extra information ? The valuation took place afaik

No. It was a refer, so it is checked at each stage by a human being, hence the "subjective accept."

Where there is any question, it defers to DIP decline until the matter is resolved.

This seems to be dragging on a bit now.
7 days after valuation and no update apart from that it’s been passed to a senior underwriter.
on the up side a hard credit check has appeared so I guess things are still moving !

That’s what I’m hoping for. It seems to drag out for so long when realistically it’s only a few weeks
