Ipswich to London train tickets

A friend of mine had 2 (advance single) round trip tickets from Ipswich to London. 

Onward. Advance :
Departure : 8 apr 22. 8:44 dep from Ipswich  - Greater Anglia

Return Journey : 
9-apr-22.  Dep: London Liverpool Street - 22:30 Greater Anglia Arrival Ipswich 23:38. 

Unfortunately, he had to leave to another country so this ticket is no use and can't be cancelled. 

What can I do with this ticket now?
Can I sell it? Can I offer it for some discount to someone. The journey date and time can be changed but destination (Ipswich and London) can't be changed. 

If anyone wants it, I can change the dates to their convenience and offer a 5£ discount.

I think you'd be better off posting on an Ipswich buying and selling facebook group, the odds on someone on here wanting them are very slim even more so in the motoring section.

If your friend acts quickly they may be able to get the value exchanged for Rail Travel Vouchers under the 'Book with Confidence' scheme.

They could then give the vouchers to you (or anyone else) to at least salvage some value.
