How quickly can the solicitor receive funds ?

The last of my enquiries were answered last night and my solicitor has written to his solicitor via email to say we’d like to complete on the 11th i.e. Monday.  Realistically I’m just hoping to be in before Easter. 
The property is vacant,  the landlord lives in Switzerland there’s no hold-ups on that part, this is entirely down to the money being transferred and the solicitors coordinating.  What do you think ?

    Solicitors can get the money from the lender. Typically they need to give 5 working days notice although some lenders can be flexible on that (we had nationwide receive the request on Thursday last week to release the funds the following day). The solicitors can then send to the vendors solicitors the same day via CHAPS.

    I've managed to get lenders to send funds on the same day as a request - but I wouldn't rely on them being able to do so!

    If your solicitor is targetting the 11th then all seems on track.

    The lender made a condition of the offer that my 17-year-old who is about to turn 18 in a matter of days signed to say that she would not reside in the property if they needed to evict us.  All sounds very straightforward in theory except the problem is the 17-year-old are stomped off to live with her father isn’t speaking to me won’t sign the form and my solicitor has pointed out that actually she couldn’t sign the form without a solicitor witnessing her signing the form and giving her legal advice to make sure that she understands what she’s signing which would cost me £450 plus VAT all of which is utterly elementary because of the say she won’t even speak to me never mind sign anything. 
    Solicitor has wrote to the lender explaining

    Tell me if I’m wrong though but this was there in black-and-white on the mortgage offer over a month ago, why is this only been picked up on when the lender refuses to release the funds ?

    It's a standard condition so not sure why it's coming up now - perhaps more likely that the solicitor has just realised it's needed.

    But are you saying she's moved out anyway? You only need occupier's consent from people who are actually occupiers.

    Yeah the solicitor wrote to them on Friday explaining that she only ever visited it weekends, but now even that stopped anyway hopefully that resolves it and we can complete on Thursday because if I lose my removal day I’ll be fuming.
