Thank you. That’s very reassuring. He’s agreed to accept the amount. I just didn’t know if that was the correct way ect.. all so stressful. I think if you start adding up various bits of money as in I owe you and you owe me it adds unnecessary stress and complicatons. If things are civil and you can agree to draw a line under everything and pay what you have both agreed he should have then it will benefit both of you. I'm sure you're not trying to rip him off and if he is happy to take the deposit amount then you can put this to bed and both move on.
