Gas Hob - Good Quality but Cheap

Hello,

Having just moved into a new house last week, we found out that our built gas job was faulty and was leaking gas.  

As we are planning to carry out extensive renovations in a year or two we would like to buy a good quality but relatively inexpensive gas job, as a stop gap until our renovation.  

We wondered if anyone could recommend any good, well priced gas hobs, retailers that may have well priced clearance gas hobs or strategies to employ if one is looking for a well-priced, good name gas hob/kitchen appliance?
