Not sure if this was the right thing to do, however my current bank having agreed a mortgage subject to valuation on March 7th, took 2 weeks to instruct survey, appointment booked for 1-4-22, this was then cancelled due to surveyor, rebooked in for 22nd April, expect to be exchanging there or thereabouts. In essence they have used up all our contingency time to agree finance
Agreed second mortgage today through broker as I needed some contingency, valuation booked for Thursday 7-4-22. Both products no arrangement fees / valuations / no broker fee either
As such if I get two offers by exchange date I just choose the one that suits at the time?
Many thanks

Yeah basically. There is nothing wrong with two offers on your same house especially if you use the same solicitor. You can't redeem them both.1

@Notfarfromtheborder There may be minor differences in the conveyancing work required by the two lenders so it might be worth making sure your solicitor is aware of your plans.
