Wedding Insurance In 2022

Hi there!

Me and my fiancé are getting married in September this year after finding a great Wedding package deal back in February.

The venue has asked that we get the day insured which is totally acceptable, but when looking at our current options due to a lot of companies not taking claims anymore it seems that the remaining businesses are (for want of a better word) useless. TripAdvisor is full of 1 star reviews and advice from people explaining how difficult the whole process was and generally not to bother.

We're going to contact the venue and ask them for further advice, but was wondering if anyone here had any tips or places to look at? We'd love to insure the big day, but don't want to use a company that don't seem to be that good.

Massive thanks!

What are your concerns over the insurance policies you've already looked at? What are they not covering that you want to be covered?

Trip advisor is a terrible place to check reviews for insurance, as they will always be negative.
