Partially settled and bankruptcy

I am a discharged bankrupt and have been told by the Halifax that my account will show "Partially settled" on my credit file. This mortgage was included in the bancruptcy, surely that debt should be totally cleared. Can anyone clarify the truth of this matter. TIA

It would only have been fully cleared if you paid it in full. But that's unlikely if it was in your bankruptcy.0

The Halifax are correct, all your debts should have a default date of the date of your bankruptcy or sooner.
All accounts should show as "partially settled" with a zero balance owing.
