Where can i get Cheap glasses

8 Posts

I have a 16 year old son with special needs. He keeps breaking his glasses. Now he is 16 I have to pay £69 each time he breaks them which is every 2 to three months. He has a big head (size of an adult)
Where can I go to get cheaper glasses? Also he has dyslexia and Irlens so looking at getting him tinted lenses. I need that cheap too. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.
He has dla trying for pip. With everything increasing even though we are cutting back. I can't afford to replace them at the rate he breaks them. He is heavy handed not doing it on purpose. He knows we don't have the money for breaks and tinted lenses. So he said he doesn’t want glasses but he can't see with out them. The tint will help him with school work and reading. Which he loves to do.
