Santander mortgage AIP

Hi,

Im applying for a remortgage with Santander. Im applying for 23% LTV.

I got an agreed AIP on Thursday.
I have a good credit score, I have no late/missed payments the last 6 years. I paid my overdraft and credit cards totally off 2 years ago.

Until 2 years ago I was always in my overdraft, i also went over it unauthorised a couple of times 2-4 years ago.

I also had a credit card that was always at its limit, the interest took it over the limit 2 or 3 times, again this was 3-4 years ago.

Would these have been seen before they gave me the AIP, or would they show up on the full application search? And as they are 3-4 years ago would they still be an issue as i have paid the overdraft and credit card off and had no issues since?

Thanks for any advice.

@muswellblue Based on the limited info in your post, none of the 2+ year old matters mentioned are likely to be an issue. The 'credit-scoring' done at the DIP/AIP stage is done based on your application and credit history and you've passed that.

    Got the mortgage offer yesterday.

Full application went in last Friday. Didn’t check any documents.

    That’s a relief.
