I'd say your only hope is a goodwill repayment from Stagecoach, but the likelihood of that is small. There is zero chance of getting anything through Paypal as Stagecoach provided the service that was paid for.

Your only hope I think would be if it's a digital ticket that needs to be scanned when boarding, so you can prove it's not been used. But it would still rely on their goodwill.
