Mortgage Offer Extension - Virgin Money

Hi
Fixed Term Mortgage with HSBC comes to an end 30/09/2022 therefore I set the ball rolling looking for a new deal and subsequently applied via L&C for Virgin 2 Year Fix @ 2.10% on 25/03/2022. Mortgage offer was received 30/03/2022 but expires 28/09/2022 (2 days prior to my current fix end).
What is the likelihood of getting this offer extended?
The 2.10% Virgin product has since been removed and their new 2 Year Fix is now 2.59%.

Your solicitor will be able to submit their certificate of title before your offer expires and date it for 30/9. If I was your broker I would be making sure that Virgin know that completion will take place 2 days after the offer expires, there is usually an allowance for these scenarios0

Hi hufc - I'm now in a similar situation and wondered whether you were granted the extension? Would really help make the case if there was precedent, in order to avoid an early redemption charge from my current mortgage provider. Thanks!

No extension was granted and we ended up completing mid-month.smorrob2NN said:Hi hufc - I'm now in a similar situation and wondered whether you were granted the extension?
