Is there a world wide shortage of Tomatoes?

I've got seedlings from Primabella, Dr. Carolyn, Roma and Red Cherry tomatoes on the go at the moment, and have had good germination rates so will try and plant out more than normal. Friends, neighbours and allotmenteers will mop up and surplus seedlings so should be ok in this tiny corner of the country, unless the dreaded blight reappears again.

These were all from seed saved from Morrisons "Salad Tomatoes" -- variety unknown, started on windowsill, transferred outside into growbags/pots/raised beds.
This year's are already sprouting, waiting for the weather to improve, along with some "Honeydrop" Tomatoes, seed from a yellow-stickered pack of tomatoes ...
