Retrospective Professional Consultants Certificate

Anyone know of the best lenders to try if we have a retrospective PCC? It’s a renovation.
we’ve got an application in with our current lender but we are not sure whether they will accept it.
Thanks

  • Hi, I am going through similar scenario. My mortgage with NatWest was approved but then decline due to the property not having structural warranty or PCC done prior completion of the conversion. From my research most of the lenders don’t accept retrospective PCC. I am searching for lenders that will accept this instead but so far I haven’t found any. Much appreciated If you find a suitable lender that you could share with me. Thanks
  • Well after getting 2 mortgages, 4 stressful months and losing a significant amount of money in lawyers fees all I can say, if you find yourself in similar situation, I would advise you don’t wait a second and run away. What strikes me is how the seller and the estate agent tried to convinced me that there was no issue with it. No structural warranty means the property is not mortgageable. PCC is only a possible alternative  if you are the first occupant and the certificate was signed at the time of the construction.
