Free Heinz 'Mean Beanz'

I got an e-mail from Heinz, regarding a competition.

When I went to their site, I noticed they have a link named 'Eat Me'. This takes you to a map, where you can select your area.

You better watch your back hombre. This mean son of a bean is headed your way. And this town, she ain’t big enough for the both of us.

I’m all over this place, there eez nowhere to hide. Click where you live and you can find out where to get a piece a me for free.

It doesn't specify exactly what they are giving out, though  .

Had some of these in Milton Keynes Shopping Centre on Saturday morning. They are just giving away small samples of beans to try in little polystyrene cups. They are pretty nice though, I'll definately be purchasing a couple of tins. The Mexican ones are great! They were giving away leaflets too, but no vouchers in them :( - nice to try then though, I'd seen the adverts and thought "I'm not interested in those" turns out I am!

Ah, so that's what it is!

Not worth a special trip, but maybe if you're in the area, and fancy tasting them......

Step kids tried 2 or 3 pots at Milton Keynes on Saturday too. Didn't bring me any home though!

Wouldn't bother, you're not missing much.
I sent an e-mail to Heinz yesterday registering my dissapointment in their Mean Beanz which taste nothing like the flavours they claim.

The Sweet Chilli ones just taste odd and far too hot.

The Tikka ones taste nothing like tikka, again are very hot, and made me fart like never before. I had a can for lunch, and by the evening, I farted every few minutes for around 5 hours. I'm not joking. Shame as they sounded like a nice idea, but fell at the first hurdle. Won't be buying them again.
Not what I expected from a company like Heinz.

    don't all beans cause that?

i think these are great, well the sweet chilli and mexican ones are.

the curry flavours are just a bit standerd for me.
