Individual Seller on Amazon

I wonder if anyone can help me. I use to be an Individual Seller on Amazon, just selling some books I didn't need. But because I hadn't used my seller account for a long time, they have disabled the account. Now I can't seem to log in. I have called them 3 times, asking for assistance to either re-instate my account or to advise how I can get back to using my Individual Seller account. They keep sending me links to set up a Business Seller account that charges £25/m. I don't have enough books to recoup that amount of money each month. I then tried to set up another email address to create a new Amazon account but as soon as I put my phone number in, it just said my account is disabled. I am going round the houses with this one. I wonder if anyone else has had this happen to them and how do I get round this issue. No-one in Amazon can help me other than send me links to set up a Business Seller account. I am not a business, I am just trying to sell some academic books that I don't need. The other book-selling sites pay very little money for books and mine are in excellent condition as they are more for reference.
Many thanks.
Many thanks.

I used to do the same - made a handy side income selling unwanted books, with textbooks & art books being particularly good sellers.
You can still sign-up for an "Individual" seller account with Amazon.
Find the Amazon UK page
sell.amazon.co.uk/sell-online/beginners-guide
(sorry can't post full links) and scroll down to the 'Chose Your Plan' section to find details.
Amazon charges 75p per sale for the Individual plan, the Professional plan is better value at £25 per month if you plan to sell more than 35 items per month.

The problem for the OP is that their details are retained by Amazon and linked to the account they cannot access. They therefore don't seem able to set up a new account unless they get a new phone number at least.0

Seems like I need to get a new phone number. Might just have to get a PAYG one for the purpose. Just hope that works.0

I have done the new phone number technique in a different situation and it works, nothing to link you with anymore1
