How low will credit score go?

Hi,
Everyone says that a DMP will 'negatively affect your credit score' but actually how low will it go? Will it drop to a total 0 on the Experian/ Checkmyfile wheel? or somewhere hovering around poor?
Many thanks
P

It might go to 0, or it might equally go to 999.

It makes no difference either way as your credit score is a gimmick that only you see.

Another question- if a financial associate applies for credit, and doesn't get it- or notices that their score has gone down, are they able to see why- unless they pay for a full credit report?

They'll be able to see the financial association with you on their files, but they can't see your reports.

So, they wouldn't necessarily know that their credit score was affected because of you?

The credit score is just a gimmick. CRAs will often give various made up reasons for changes. That might or might not include a financial associate, a change in activity or a change in the weather.

Your associate will see their own accounts, including those shared with you, and their status. But they don't see your file.
