Good morning all
2 weeks ago we were due to exchange/complete on our new home. But our buyer threw a spanner in the works and it didn’t happen.

Last Friday my solicitor got in touch to say that the chain have all agreed to exchange & complete all on the same day ( so this coming Friday ) to which I agreed to.
2 weeks ago on the Monday of the week we were due to complete on I had a message from the bank congratulating us and telling us when the funds would be with the solicitor.
I haven’t heard a thing from the bank this time around and I’m a bit concerned. I have emailed the solicitor just to inform her that I haven’t as of yet heard anything ( I’m guessing she informed them late last Friday that funds would be needed asap ) and I can’t directly speak to the bank because I went through a financial adviser/broker.

So my question is I guess , will the funds be with us on time 😬 I’m beyond stressed with this whole thing it’s been going on for 6 months now !
Thankyou to any replies

When you request the funds the first time a certificate of title is sent by solicitor, this can prompt automatic updates to be sent.
If you are requesting it again the solicitor normally just emails them to request so it might not set off the automatic notification.1 -
