Recently discharged on IPA

Hi everyone. I would like to ask some questions related to bankruptcy, I've recently been discharged from bankruptcy but I still have the IPA attached (Never paid into my IPA)

Now that I've been discharged am I able to start looking into improving my credit even with the IPA?

I've never paid into my IPA, is there a way I can take it away or am I to have it until it runs out?

Now that I'm discharged it's reflected on my bankruptcy notice on my credit report, I've read conflicting information about the debts included in it, should they be marked as settled after discharge or do they stay on in default? Mine are showing as defaults still.

Thank you all.

Sorry I need to add to the last question, what I meant to add was do they stay as default until the bankruptcy is removed from my credit report, I understand that is 6 years from bankruptcy approval.

Repair your credit record after bankruptcy (debtcamel.co.uk)

Basically on discharge, your debts should all show a zero balance with nothing owing, once the 6 year time limit is up, all entries will vanish from your file.

How come you have an IPA but haven`t paid anything towards it ?

Thanks for your reply I'll have a look on DebtCamel.

I've only been discharged in the last few weeks so could it just need a little more time for it to show a zero balance? I've also seen a post on here about getting it corrected if it doesn't change so I'll research that.

And about the IPA. I went through the IPA just before the £80 a month extra was stopped from universal credit, I was also receiving carers element but my circumstances changed shortly around that time so I stopped receiving it, the IPA was singed just before my circumstances changed.
I was surprised that the carers element of UC had to be included into the IPA.

I've also noticed that the default dates aren't correct, they should be the date the bankruptcy was approved if I'm correct?
