Next Year's Tax Code Incorrect on Gov Gateway

in Cutting tax
Hi.
I've checked my personal tax account on the HMRC site and in the "Check Next Year's Tax Code" section they're assuming I'll still have two employers next year, despite "This Year's" section confirming my 2nd employment terminated at the beginning of March.
Although I'm able to update the estimated income from my remaining job, there's no option to update the terminated one and it's that one which has the bulk of the allowance coded meaning I'll be over taxed.
Is this likely to correct itself in April or should I be contacting HMRC to update things?
I appreciate the overpaid tax will resolve itself but I'd still rather prevent it.
Thanks

When your tax code was calculated ready for 2022:23 you still had two jobs.
One of which has now ended.
Was the job that has ended allocated a T suffix code or an L suffix for 2022:23?1 -
It's an L suffix0

So updating your estimated earnings will have minimal impact as it is your main job (in HMRC's eyes) that has ended.
Best thing is to contact HMRC, phoning just before 8am seems a regular suggestion on here, and asking for the other to be made your main one and for a new code for 2022:23 to be calculated and issued.
Too late now to change 2021:22 but that will resolve itself either via completion of a Self Assessment return (if you file them) or HMRC reviewing the year this summer.1 -
Thanks Dazed, I'll try to call tomorrow morning.
I'm not fussed about this year but hoping to minimise any issues for next year0
