I have been checking my EPC .
It says Hot water from mains no cylinder thermostat .
Recommend installing thermostat.
I have an immersion heater and oil heating.
What does this mean . I spoke to an electrician who said the immersion has a thermostat.

Picture(s) of the tank needed... or at least make and model number.

I’m not qualified, but I suspect they mean a thermostat that limits the hot tank water temperature to prevent scalding at the tap.

The EPC provider probably failed to inspect the tank properly.
