I have been checking my EPC .
It says Hot water from mains no cylinder thermostat .
Recommend installing thermostat.
I have an immersion heater and oil heating.
What does this mean . I spoke to an electrician who said the immersion has a thermostat.

Picture(s) of the tank needed... or at least make and model number.

I’m not qualified, but I suspect they mean a thermostat that limits the hot tank water temperature to prevent scalding at the tap.0

The EPC provider probably failed to inspect the tank properly. No free lunch, and no free laptop
