Hi. I got a letter saying i owe money to bw legal on behalf of jc international for a talktalk internet debt. Are they the same company or do i owe them both? I googled jc international and this guide says they are their own company owned by "Creditlink Account Recovery Solutions (CARS)". I am confused which company is

I would guess BW are the debt collector/pseudo-solicitor and JCI are the actual owners. 

So any dealings would be with/through BW

Debts are bought and sold in bulk, thousands of accounts at a time, these debt purchasing companies, in this case JCI, use pseudo collectors/solicitors, such as BW to collect them on their behalf.

Try not to complicate the issue, if BW are writing to you, then they are the ones you send the "provit letter" to.
