Non Resident Bankruptcy

I have a large amount of unsecured debts in the UK and no assets, I want to know if there is any chance a creditor could file bankruptcy against me if non resident?

It would be an unusual move to do so, as it would cost them around a grand to do so, that`s on top of what`s already owed, and with you having no assets, and no guarantee of getting anything back, its very, very unlikely to happen, only exception would be HMRC who would do so just for the hell of it, and because they can.
