CMS Tribunal - What To Expect?

Hi All

I've been given a date for my CMS tribunal in April and was wondering if anyone has been through it recently and could tell me what to expect?

Background is that my ex-wife is unhappy that CMS have adjudged I don't owe her anything. I am self-employed and with everything going on the business had been loss-making and I was living off savings and credit cards. My tax returns show losses for the periods in question. She refuses to accept this and has continued to escalate all the way to tribunal claiming I am hiding earnings. She has at no stage provided any evidence of this (other than me being able to live my life without an income). I haven't been hiding earnings and, in fact she had all my financials for the period disclosed as part of the divorce process anyway. I've disclosed all the same information to the tribunal as I have nothing to hide.

I'm slightly concerned that the whole thing has just become a fishing expedition and I'm now being put in the position of having to prove my innocence rather than them actually making a case that I have hidden something. Surely if my financial declarations are sufficient for HMRC and the court then the CMS tribunal should accept them as truthful? Maybe I'm worrying over nothing but I'm just exhausted of continually being dragged through courts and being asked to disclose my entire life and financial history just because someone is annoyed with me.

The most galling part is that for the period in question I was the one offering to go to mediation and to negotiate a settlement that worked for us and she was the one insisting that she wanted to go through the courts and CMS - and then she refuses to accept the outcome that they give her!
