Class 3 Contributions

I intend to retire in June 2023 at 62. I will only have 34 full years of contributions to the full pension. At the minute this would leave me £2.22 short of the full amount (as it stands).
Would this gap widen significantly when I'm eligible in 2027 to access the state pension and would it be prudent/efficient to pay the Class 3 contributions in 2023 to close this gap?
I know this may require a crystal ball but would welcome opinions.

I don't think it would widen significantly but it would take a few years to get your £800 back, particularly if you will be paying tax on the extra £2.22/week1

Could you do a small self employed business and pay voluntary class 2?0
