It looks like they've changed this.
Previously as I understand it, if you shared you automatically received an extra entry.
Now you only seem to get the extra entry if a friend enters from your shared link 
How to Get More Entries.
Step 1 - Invite your friends by selecting one of the share options below.
Step 2 - As soon as a friend has entered the competition, you'll
both gain an additional entry. (Up to 15 entries per day for each
competition)
