Anyone had a before and after EPC to compare what 4kwp and a diverter does to your score?

Yeah the solar should move you up a band.
Usually the epc says on it what you could move to if you did... more insulation,  solar etc etc

If I remember correctly, I went from Band D to Band B.

I went from band D to a band B (one point short of an A) with a solar panel array and insulation recently. Hard to say which part of it bumped it up the most but I reckon you go up one band for a solar panel array.

It'll probably be listed on the old EPC certificate as an improvement and include the number of points it will improve your score by.

My last home had no solar and was B, current home has solar and is still B. But, you'll probably get more movement on an older home.

If you're a C, solar PV moves you up a band to B. In my experience, this effect (and the value of the system itself) tends to add to the property's resale value.

When I bought my house it was Band D, 59 points, with 200 mm loft insulation.  I followed the recommendation to change all light bulbs to low energy and added Solar PV.   This raised the EPC to Band B, 82 points and the loft insulation magically increased to a depth of 350 mm although I had not added any at all.

i went  up  11 points for  pv but  reading the epc  you realise what a waste of time they are, it would of been the ideal time to  have a proper survey and some practical advise. the surveyor didn't evan know what  the energy saving  lamps were
