Mortgage offer issued based on a payslip in less than 48h

Hi All,
I am quite surprised but apart from filling up the mortgage application and sending them a single payslip it was enough for the lender to issue a mortgage offer.
They haven't even asked to prove the deposit. I know that a bigger portion of the deposit sits in my bank account that is with them but nevertheless.
It's the quickest lender so far - from filing an application to their offer in less than 48h.
Does this sound reasonable to you? Or is this particular lender doing things a bit differently e.g. offloads some checks post-offer but then is more likely to withdraw at a later stage than the other lenders who take time?
Best regards

Yes, I applied for a mortgage with YBS, and it was approved with one payslip and one bank statement in 24hours. Applied with Skipton and it was approved with no bank statement or payslip because they verified it electronically - i got that in 24 hours too. That one felt a little bit odd tbh with you LOL!
Funds sent today within 2 hours of asking, no retraction or extra checks. Some lenders are less popular so can turn things around really quick.1 -
