I went for Light Renewables and I am nearby in Eltham. I found they had better prices than anywhere else and very, very good kit - my solaredge system (top end) was way cheaper than my other quotes. However they are very slow with the DNO paperwork. Mind you, they did the mcs certificate very fast and fitted my iboost nicely. I would advise to use them, get solaredge with optimisers, and just do the g98 or g99 form yourself. The DNO will help you fill it out anyway (they are extremely helpful), if you get on the phone to them.Fgs avoid council collective schemes - they always get fired by the council because they win the bid by making promises they cannot keep. Use a reputable local installer.London. 6.4kwh system, South facing. 16 Hyundai 400kw all black panels w/ optimisers, 6kw Solaredge HD Wave inverter, Solar Iboost with two immersion heaters on one 240l hw tank. Octopus Flux. Ivar 5 Wood Burning Stove. Leaf 62kwh plus Zappi. Two chickens: 1 Light Sussex, 1 Speckled Rock. Omlet walk-in run. Approx 1.5 eggs per day egg generation rate using Marriage's organic layers pellets.0

Had a quote from them for around 12k - for 4 kW system, but what might have pushed the price is the 10 kWh LG battery.0

I just want to add that the g99 form issue was in fact an external issue and not their fault. The DNO are just slow - I have confirmed this today. I therefore genuinely cannot fault them. I am aware this is an area where prices are changing - so you must get several quotes. My understanding is that they have a particular preference for solar edge kit and I can certainly see why as I love the way the optimisers work to show each panel and its performance.

I had a quote from Light Renewables
20 x 400w Hyundai Solar black panels, 20 x Solar Edge optimizers, 1 x Solar Edge Hybrid Inverter and 1 x Solar Edge 10kh of battery
14k covers everything. I had a similar quote from DeegeSolar for 16k a bit more for a higher output panels
21 x 410w Hyundai Solar black panels, 21 x Solar Edge optimizers, 1 x Solar Edge Hybrid Inverter and 1 x Solar Edge 10kh of battery
Honestly thinking of going with LIght Renewables. Are these prices any good?

Well 8kw of solar should come in roughly 8-9k, a little more since you have optimisers too (assuming shading issues), say 1k, so then you are paying 4-5k for a 10kwh battery.
It's by no means terrible, but its not great either.
13k would be a good price imo.
Actually just looked up the solaredge battery and midsummer has it at £5.5k, which makes it a bloody expensive battery, but also makes your quote a much fairer price.West central Scotland
4kw sse since 2014 and 6.6kw wsw / ene split since 2019
24kwh leaf, 75Kwh Tesla and Lux 3600 with 60Kwh storage0 -

Also getting people to quote can be a struggle and I think prices are going up all the time I think the days of £1k per KW are probably gone.8kw system spread over 6 roofs , surrounded by trees and in a valley.1 -
If you've not chosen a supplier yet then have a look at Solar Advanced Systems. They fitted our panels and were very good although it was a long time ago now.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
