  • OP, I'm in the same shoes as you re not trusting the Umbrella company and need a check. I don't have a student loan but sometimes top up my pension.
    Have you found any calculators that are useful?
    I feel the wage I get after tax is low even.

    I don't believe I did, but one bit of comfort is that even if they have deducted incorrectly at any point during the FY, it will all be reconciled at the end of the year when you get your P60.

    There may well be some decent calculators online now though as it's nearly 2 years ago I posted this!
