Sechiari Clark and Mitchell no longer exist how can I find out who to pay

Hello I am currently selling my house and have an interim charging order which was place on my house on 9th July 2009. The solicitors which acted on behalf of Lloyds went into administration and Lloyds call centre is next to useless. I am trying to find out who to speak to so that I can get this paid off but to no avail, can anyone here help as we are due to exchange contracts?

No easy or quick answer Unfortunatly, basically its a case of wait and see who writes to you.

These kind of decisions are taken way above call centre level, so won`t be of any help.

Get in touch with Land registry if all else fails, we have a dedicated sticky thread on this forum.

  • We have a copy of the interim charging order but unfortunately aren't in a position to wait. This is so frustrating as Sechairi Clark and Mitchell went into liquidation and they registered the interim charging order.

Try finding out who the administrators were and contact them.
The law society may have a record if the solicitors did go bump. A quick Google suggests there were an in house team for Lloyds and it may have reverted back to them.

Then my suggestion would be to try and find out who the liquidator is or was, and see if the company assets have been realised yet or not.

They may be accepting payments of the companies debts themselves, as a way of realising assets, that would be my plan anyway.

As far as I remember Sechiari Clark and Mitchell never properly existed. They were just a letterhead that Lloyd used to use in its litigation/debt collection arm. When the FCA came into being they clamped down on misleading solicitor-sounding names.

The creditor would therefore be Lloyds Bank
