Zero hour contract

How hard is it to get a mortgage on a zero hour contract - I have very regular income on this contract (full time hours)
I also have a large deposit

  • I know Coventry Building Society say they will accept Zero hour contracts if you can demonstrate from wage slips a consistent amount of pay for 12 months and Skipton ask for the last three payslips / 2 P60’s and will take the average wage from those P60’s although if your hours have reduced they won’t look at it.

Large deposit helps. I’d advise finding a very good mortgage broker as they’ll find you the best rate on the market for your circumstances and can often get cases through that individuals wouldn’t

Almost all the lenders will take at least 12 mnoths average to calculate ur income..some lenders donot take zero hours at all…amount of deposit doesnt matter
