Security clearance

Hi, I submitted my Security Clearance questionnaire 4 weeks ago and have today been asked to attend an interview. From reading the guidance on gov.uk, interviews are standard for eSC, DV etc but SC itself it’s not. Anyone know why I’d be invited to an interview for SC and should I be concerned?

If you read this https://www.gov.uk/guidance/united-kingdom-security-vetting-applicant you'll see that some applicants for SC are occasionally invited for interview, and the interview is likely to 'focus on a specific area of your life'. You only need to be concerned if you've lied on the form, have actively concealed something, or have anything in your past/current life which could pose a threat.ReeceHT said:Hi, I submitted my Security Clearance questionnaire 4 weeks ago and have today been asked to attend an interview.
