I did extensive research before I bought a washing machine recently, and Beko always came out tops where cheap washing machines are concerned.0

HAve you thought about looking at the comet auctions? I got a LG 1600 spin direct drive machine for £275 but my sister also got a lg 1400 for £200 and those are the ones with the big drums. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

How cheap is cheap? You could always look on ebay if you want a really cheap on, or gumtree. I normally buy appliances from appliance planet. Have a look at http://www.applianceplanet.co.uk/eshop/groups/LWMF.htm0

Boots online do really good deals. Also Currys own brand(can't remember the name)has been reliable0

The auctions finish on differant days and at differant times and the condition varies with each machine, i spent a while looking through and watching what price the machine i was looking for closed at then timed it for a mid week and 3pm close and bid on that auction, i did loose a few as its hit or miss if your up against someone who also really want the machine, the postage is £25 so take that into consideration incase you can get it online with free delivery and you have to be registered to bid;) Look out for transit bolts in place which is listed with the condition of the machine at the bottom of the auction, there are perfect machines going through the auctions too and ive seen the lg steam machines on there too.The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -
How long is the garuntee on the washing machines? Couldn't see on the website.
Did you risk bidding on items which had damage?0 -
You get your 12 months guarentee or whatever the manufacturers guarentee is, i think the lg is 2 years, the condition of the machine is listed at the bottom of the auction but they list every thing, our machine had a dent on the back panel which was marked as large dent more than 6 inches ok fair enough it was but who is going to see it, also a few scratches but that turned out to be tiny chips which i struggled to find but if there is no damage marked then you should recieve a perfect machine some are still boxed. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

Why do I need to look for transit bolts? Is it important to the condition, cause I know you usually have to remove them before use.0
