Applying for Mortgage when I've already sold and left my old house

Hi All,
I have owned and lived at my property for 4.5 years It was the first property I owned ( and I purchased it with my husband). We have agreed on a sale for a great price and are scheduled to complete on 31 March. This is all down to going through a divorce - so had to sell and we'll be splitting the money.
If all continues to progress, as of 31 March, I will no longer be a property owner but will have a very healthy bank balance.
It is my intention to move in temporarily with my mum in a different part of the country whilst I look for and buy my own place in that area.
I have found a house I want and had an offer accepted just this morning - so much quicker than I expected.
However, when it comes to applying for my mortgage, as of 31 March, I will not be on any bills - as it's my mum's house. I won't have a tenancy agreement or anything.
How do I provide proof of address? I can update my driver's license to her address, but I won't have anything else.
Also, when it comes to proving the deposit I have and where the money came from, should I ask the solicitor that dealt with the sale for me to put something together for me?
Has anyone been in a similar position in terms of not really having a fixed abode for a short time between selling and buying? What were you able to do?
Also as a bit of a tangent... when it comes to the land registry being updated when I buy this new property myself would it be possible to have that in my maiden name which I will be reverting to once my divorce is finalised?

Drivers Licence for proof of address. Passport for proof of identity.
If you want to have the purchase in your maiden name then you'll need some photo ID with that name on it.1 -
Proof of deposit would just be the completion statement from the solicitor 👍1

You might be making a Rod for your back by wanting your new property in your maiden name.
Are you divorced yet ?
With the delays at the Passport office and other government departments, DVLA etc this could take months to sort.
However finding and then buying a new home will take several months !
If you need a mortgage ! Have you got a job in the new area ?0 -

Buy the new house in with your current surname and change everything after you've moved in. You'll create lots of issues and delays by changing and applying in your maiden name now. All your lending history is credit file is in your current name i assume? All of that takes time to change.
