    To try and put it simply, all sources of "income" are potentially taxable, except those sources which are specifically exempted from tax by the legislation.

    Thank you for your reply and apologies for my late one. I’ve been away. It’s rather odd when I look at the list of what should be declared for tax purposes and should not when considering benefits and disabilities. Some many I thought should be considered are actually on the exempt list.
