You can even get a plug in system , although it’s a fused spur by the looks of it from pluginsolar. However it usually makes electricians blow a fuse by mentioning it

not recommending just pointing out its existence.

No.  I've now two systems both export to the grid,  one get's FIT and the other is totally unrecorded and unrewarded as far the grid is concerned.

Exile, would you describe your addition, which inverter you chose and what you think of it?

The addition has a single Hoymiles microinverter.  I don't have much to say about it. It's been in 2 1/2 years without any issues and seems to work just fine.
