Is it Possible to transfer between two CC's before purchase hits statement.
As I could use VM 0% balance transfer offer before 31st March.
Purchase would be via Natwide CC.

thanks

So you want to transfer say £1k this week so you have it at 0% on VM.  So NW CC would have a £1k credit until you made the purchase?

NW might reject the credit and send it back which would mean you would still have to pay off the transfer fee.  They might not but if you ring them and advise them about the purchase which will hit the card soon they might be ok with it.  And if it's a case of a day or two there's unlikely to be an issue but best to check.

OR you could hold your nerve and hope that VM give you another offer in April.

fyi - Santander couldn't care less about a credit but others are not so flexible.

Thanks, ide like to purchase imac tonight.
I have VM 0% offer transfers made until 31st March.
If I use Natwide for purchase, could I transfer purchase before 31st as not sure of Natwide statement dates.

Let me see if their open via tel.

    The statement dates are irrelevant.

If you use NW to purchase today/tomorrow/Monday the amount should be on the card a couple of days after and you still have plenty of time to move the money from VM before the 31st.  That would be much more straight forward and would mean that you aren't putting the card into credit so no problem.

    Thanks

I called Natwide to check anyway, great their open until 20:00 tonight.
I've gone ahead with imac purchase, intending to transfer to VM 0% 12 months.

Excellent it was either 0% vm 12 mths or to Natwide 7.9% 18 mths.
I have similar rbs 6 or 7.9% though preferring to make that balance Zero as oled due to be paid hopefully early or mid April.

    thanks appreciated.

Don't know how often one is expected to re iterate that my 20 hours working week has never been withheld from any credit provider, including salary.

Maybe I'll resist continued temptation of 7 pounds 50 pence and use Natwide .75% cash isa to pay imac.
Not too dissimilar when helptosave is used mid April to clear oled.

This reply is for mser's should they decide in taking comfort from my posts.

    thanks
