Selling electric vehicle charger usage

Having just having just had an EV charger installed. I can see there are apps that promote selling the usage of the charger to others.

Plugshare, co-charger, BookMyCharge all claim to do this. The apps take about 10% and you set your own rate for usage.

    Apologies for necro-posting...

@silvercar Did you use Co Charger to boost your income, and did it work for you ?

I saw it mentioned on another thread and thought I might be able to use mine to generate a few quid.

No. In the end we decided we didn’t want random cars blocking the driveway and also have a tariff that is app controlled for car charging, so would have meant over riding that, every time we allowed a charge by a different car.

The charger I have here can be controlled via an app, my home automation system, or from the built in screen - For obvious reasons, the screen & buttons have been disabled. Both the app and the HA are password protected (and the latter is on a private network)...
It might be possible to set the HA to enable the panel/buttons for a scheduled charge, but I don't know if Co Charger has an API to allow that to happen. Will have to have a little think about it.

Downloaded the app and attempted to register.

Failed at the first hurdle when it asked for a phone number. It must be a valid mobile number - I have no desire or need for such a thing...
