Mortgage Illustration Rate Increase

We have already started our mortgage application with Halifax, we have our mortgage illustration with a rate of 1.94% is this now likely to change due to the base rate increase announced today?

It's not, if have have started the application then it's honoured. Lenders have been increasing their rates for weeks in advance of this, so today's increase came as no shock.1

No Becky, it will not. They may issue new rates but I assume you wont want to switch for a higher rate?I am a Mortgage Broker
