I inherited solar panels on moving house. I would love to extend them to include storage batteries. Maybe a domestic wind turbine - again with storage batteries.

Assuming your not on any benefits, the only grants are interest free loans....BUT
I went down this route but just gave up, it just wasn't worth the hassle. Took over 4 months before I just gave up.
I could have just got a low interest bank loan that was almost cheaper than their interest free loan.
You will need to have a current energy report that mentions solar improvements, then you need to have a talk with them. But afterwards you need to pay a 75 admin fee plus a new energy report on your property.

btw i would investigate wind turbines carefully, i looked at this and the performance was very poor for most domestic installations.
