Prescription exemption ending?

I cannot find anything on Google about the Prescription charge Exemption for over 60's ending in April. Does anyone know the facts please? Thank you.

You haven't found anything because there isn't anything.  There has only ever been a consultation which sparked a rumour mill / tabloid press frenzy.
