Should I buy train tickets in advance?

You want to go from A to B; the train stops at C. In some cases, buying two tickets A to C and then C to B is a cheaper option even though you are on the same physical train. You might need to move seats at C because of reservations.dllive said:Hmm, Im not sure. What does that mean 'split the ticket'?
May not be an option on this route.
I need to think of something new here...1 -
Looking at the small difference in price (106.50 v 99) I would be tempted to travel on the faster GWR train to Paddington.

That won't reduce your journey time if you are still getting a timed train from Marylebone, nor will it reduce your TfL fare for the short Zone 1 tube journey. No free lunch, and no free laptop
