Successful Council Tax Rebanding

We've just got our house in South Cambridgeshire rebanded from G to F, saving us £466 a year.
Despite our providing lots of photos and other written evidence showing comparable local houses in Band F, the appeals service initially turned us down and provided their own evidence claiming our house should remain at G.
We refused to accept that and told them we wanted to take it to tribunal, and a date was set. About a month before the tribunal hearing the appeals service got back in touch and said they would accept a G to F switch after all, which we accepted. That meant a refund of about £450 on the tax paid since we'd moved in, as well as a £466 saving for 2022-23. The switch is backdated to 2003. We've notified the previous owners, who could get a 4.5 year refund. So although the process may take up to six months or more, we reckon it's definitely worth persisting - even if you're turned down at first. Thanks to MSE for its very helpful guide on evidence-gathering etc.
