Natwest Mortgage Re-Keying

We applied for a mortgage with Natwest on the 7th of March and provided them all the docs they requested for via digilocker on the 8th of March - also received a tracker number then.
Currently the Natwest tracker is showing no information for us when we put in the 8 digit tracking number, so I called Natwest and they've mentioned it's being re-keyed currently and they're waiting on documents from the broker? This makes no sense as the broker uploaded those documents on the 8th of March?
Surely it shouldn't take this long to have our application rekeyed and our documents reviewed?
